Camp UniStar was founded in 1961 as a Unitarian Universalist intergenerational family camp. The Camp is on an island in Cass Lake and is only accessible by boat. The camp season consists of Helping Hands week (aka Work Week), youth week, and nine family weeks. There is one week of staffing training before the camp season begins. Our goal is to have a staff of 15 people. Staff work and live at Camp, with most, but not all, of staff having private rooms.  Staff members receive a day off each week in addition to two paid days off during the season to schedule at their discretion.
