Spirituality can be a framework for understanding and celebrating our connections with the cosmos and our experience of space and time. The cosmos – near and far, grand and mundane – invites us into relationships through languages and narratives we know by names like Astronomy, Geology, Archaeology, and more. How does – or could – these sciences deepen our spirituality? This decidedly non-academic program will emphasize experiences, friendly conversation, a bit of show-and-tell, writing, reflection, and humor.
Phil is a member of the First Unitarian Society of Minneapolis. He is a lawyer by trade, has been involved in LGBTQ advocacy for nearly 40 years, and is a cat-lover, a permanent history major, a spiritual seeker, and an avid journaler.
